Why a High Tea?
Tea time has always carried with it a certain elegance — a timeless ritual of conversation, love, and community. Historically, it has brought generations together, each sip steeped in tradition and joy. We wanted to reimagine that sentiment for the modern bride by creating an immersive multi-generational High Tea experience that honored where we've come from, who we are, and the love stories still being written.
And so, we opened the doors of our Greenville boutique to brides, mothers, grandmothers, sisters, and friends — inviting them into a space curated for connection, laughter, and memory-making.
A Culinary Dream:
To bring this vision to life, we partnered with a beloved Greenville gem, Old Europe Desserts. Their dreamy spread of sweet and savory bites delighted every palate and looked like something out of a fairytale. Paired with a luxurious curation of teas and topped off with a celebratory bubbly toast, the entire spread was a sensory delight — elegant, delicious, and full of charm.
The PosieWild Experience: Where Beauty Meets Whimsy
The tea itself was just the beginning! We were beyond thrilled to welcome the incredible team from PosieWild, who brought an immersive and magical touch to the afternoon. PosieWild, like Ava Laurénne Bride, believes no detail is too small — and they delivered for guests in a huge way!! Brides handpicked blooms from a breathtaking floral buffet, crafting custom bouquets that were as unique and beautiful as their love stories. Every stem chosen was a tiny act of self-expression — joyful, creative, and oh-so-personal. PosieWild also wowed with two original handcrafted mocktails:
- Honeymoon on The Peach: non-alcoholic Bourbon tea syrup, peach tea syrup, peach & basil puree, tonic water, Seedlip 42
- On London Time: Early Gray Tea, lavender syrup, vanilla brown sugar, Seedlip 42, and half & half
Each sip was a memory in the making!!
Teacups, Charms, and Unexpected Joys
Of course, no Ava Laurénne event is complete without a little something extra special. That’s why we were honored to feature Rooted in Gold, a permanent jewelry artist who added shimmer to the day with delicate charms and custom pieces — including teacup charms gifted exclusively to our brides! It was a precious and personal memento that glimmered with meaning!
And then there was the surprise that took everyone’s breath away: hand-painted teacups by the gifted Evoke Artwork. These one-of-a-kind creations were lovingly crafted just for Ava Laurénne Brides, each stroke of paint echoing our love for beauty, art, and heartfelt details. The teacups were the kind of keepsake that brides will treasure for years — a small work of art, forever tied to a beautiful moment in time.
